We are glad to announce that FIGI identifiers are now available in our IPF web service.
FIGI (Financial Instrument Global Identifier, www.openfigi.com/) is a unique international identifier for financial instruments, similar to ISIN. However, unlike ISIN, which requires an expensive subscription fee, FIGI is significantly more cost-effective. This affordability makes FIGI an attractive option for financial professionals and institutions seeking a reliable and standardized method for identifying financial instruments without the burden of high costs.
Although FIGI is a relatively new standard, it is accepted as an OMG standard and is gradually gaining popularity.
At dxFeed, we are dedicated to consistently improving our data offering. Using FIGI, our customers now receive a convenient way to identify financial instruments, search for them, or enrich their client offerings. Also, FIGI is particularly useful for mappings and integrations with different systems and third parties, especially when ISIN can’t be used.
Currently, FIGI identifiers are available in IPF for 2.5 million instruments, including US and European stocks, futures, options, and more:
- NYSE: stocks and ETF
