Overview
CTA/UTP, NYSE Arca, Cboe EDGX, MEMX and 24X have confirmed their readiness to support 23/5 trading hours. This change introduces a new Overnight Trading Session. Starting December 6th, 2026 (December 7th trading day), the trading schedule for these exchanges will be as follows (EST):
- Overnight: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Early: 4:00 AM – 9:30 AM
- Core: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Late: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for the new schedule will be conducted by CTA/UTP. The tests will take place on the following dates:
- October 2nd, 2026
- October 16th, 2026
- October 30th, 2026
- November 6th, 2026
- November 20th, 2026
- December 4th, 2026 (Confidence Test)
dxFeed will participate in these tests and provide customers with an opportunity to test the new trading schedule.
Participation and testing are optional and done voluntarily.
Technical Details
Each test begins at 11:00 PM EST on the selected Friday and concludes on the following Saturday at 12:00 PM EST. During this time, participants will enter data and process it through the SIP, and the SIP will disseminate the data via the production channels of the data feed.
