dxFeed is implementing support for the upcoming FINRA enhancements to equity trade reporting facilities that introduce fractional share quantity reporting. These changes were announced by FINRA in Trade Reporting Notice 03-224 and are designed to enable market participants to report trades involving fractional shares with greater precision.
Technical details
To fully support FINRA requirements, dxFeed will update its data feeds to allow fractional share amounts as precise as one millionth of a share (0.000001) in the size and volume fields of dxFeed events.
