We would like to inform you about an upcoming fundamental data cleanup starting on 20 June 2026.
As part of our modernization initiative, dxFeed Fundamentals Webservice (including Java API) will be gradually phased out during 2027, while the Fundamentals API will continue to be the primary supported service. The legacy interfaces will remain operational throughout the migration period, and no immediate action is required from your side.
As the first step of this transition, we will remove inactive data points from the Fundamentals Webservice.
Technical Details
Fundamental data is currently accessible through two interfaces:
- dxFeed Fundamentals Webservice (including Java API): https://tools.dxfeed.com/morningstar/
- dxFeed Fundamentals API: https://tools.dxfeed.com/fs/
NB! This change only affects dxFeed Fundamentals Webservice and Java API. Some clients may already be using one or both interfaces indirectly through existing applications or integrations without explicitly distinguishing between them. If you are unsure which interface your integration uses, please check the request URL configured for your fundamental data requests.
Scope of this change
Over the past months, we conducted internal usage analysis together with customer outreach to better understand which datasets and access methods are actively used in production environments. Based on this analysis and the feedback received, we identified a set of legacy data fields and interfaces with no known active usage.
Based on our current analysis, we do not expect this cleanup to impact active production integrations. All known actively used datasets will continue to be supported. The updated list of supported data points is available here.
